The Influence of Social Media in Fashion: Beginning Boutique's Collection with Demetra Dias

Nothing has changed the fashion industry quite like social media. With easy access to products at our fingertips, social media has made it simple for customers to discover and purchase fashion items of all kinds. Furthermore, social media has enhanced discovery in another sector, making it easier to find fashion influencers on apps like Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok. 

One of these fashion influencers is Demetra Dias, a 17-year-old content creator with over 3.4 million followers on TikTok. Demetra gained fame on the app for her recognizable unboxing videos where she would make try-on hauls of items she purchased. Her videos didn't stop there; She continued to style her purchased items until brands recognized her growing influence. Since then, she has worked with various brands to make more fashion content and style inspiration for her viewers. 

Most recently, Demetra has worked with the brand beginning boutique to create a line of clothes desirable for her many followers.
